Renovation Project Overview
This project is a full remodel of a badly updated bathroom near Franklin, Tn. We collaborated with the client to design the new bathroom exactly as she had always dreamed.
Client wanted to update a poorly remodeled bathroom and convert the bathtub to a full walk-in shower. We designed and updated everything in the bathroom – except for the layout.
This project was a delight for us to collaborate on with the client and make everything come together so well! Despite some water damaged subfloor, unsafely abandoned electrical wiring, and out of level walls and floors. As a Nashville contractor specialized in bathroom remodeling, we got the job done on time, with excellent results and a very happy customer!
Scope of Work for This Full master bath renovation
Scope of Work
We updated everything from the shower and wall tile, to lights, fan and all electrical. All fixtures and furnishings were changed as well. Below is the scope of work done:
- Demolition of existing tub and floor tile, plumbing fixtures, and lighting.
- Moved plumbing from the left wall to right side.
- Relocated and updated existing recessed lighting and fan.
- Installed new custom shower tile, matching wainscoting, and large format luxury porcelain tile.
- New custom hexagonal floor tile.
- New door, paint, trim and fixtures.
- New modern vanity.
Project Workflow & Botanical Pattern Tile Installation
Renovation Project Workflow:
- We collaborated on the remodeling design and choose the material with the client who wanted a beautiful personal touch.
- Demolition and removing all old bathroom fixtures and finishes.
- Sourced and scheduled delivery for all new materials.
- Carefully worked with the material and design to install custom handmade zellige tile in the shower and wainscot. Expertly installed the oversized luxury porcelain to fully cover all the walls, and installed stone-like hexagonal floor tiles.
- Opened up the storage space by removing the trim, casing, and studs to allow easier access and functionality.
- Installed new plumbing fixtures, shower door, and vanity.
Botanical Patterned Porcelain Tile & Zellige Ceramic Tile Used
Tiles used:
- Large patterned porcelain botanical tile: Monet wild atelier green 24×48 artisan decor matter porcelain wall tile. From TileBar.
- Glaze zellige pink & green tile: Portmore green and pink 3×8 glazed ceramic tile.
